Notes:

Calendar Time: Attendance, Calendar, Daily Routines

Group Work: We will be working with the Units of Inquiry, which includes all subjects. There are some skills in Language and Maths that are not directly linked to the units and they will be worked as stand alone skills. If I work with a small group the other students will be assigned to centers.

Movement: It can happen inside or outside the classroom depending on the skills we would be working with. It covers the P.E. curriculum.

Snack: I encourage you to send fruits and cut vegetables for snack.

DEAR Time – Drop Everything And Read: Silent Reading on the carpet. Students will share what they read about. Even if they cannot “read” by decoding they can always make inferences from the pictures on the book.

Swimming: will start after the October break. Your child will need a swimming costume, towel and arm bands.
